Biography

Dr Ushna Shameen is a dental surgeon and medical researcher with a background in oral health education, preventive healthcare, and health research. She completed her Master in Community Oral Health at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research focuses on developing and validating evidence-informed health education interventions, particularly digital and community-based approaches to improving health knowledge and preventive practices. Her recent research includes developing and validating an online oral health education module for Pakistani parents using the ADDIE instructional design framework. Her interests also extend to public health, health systems, health policy implementation, and preventive healthcare.
