Biography

George Ikuta Mbevi is a Data Manager and Health Information Systems specialist at the KEMRI–Wellcome Trust Research Programme in Nairobi, Kenya, where he works within the Systems Research and Ethics/Health Systems Research Group. With more than a decade of experience in health information systems and research data management, George has contributed to initiatives focused on strengthening the quality, availability, and use of health data to improve clinical care. His work with the Clinical Information Network has particularly supported efforts to improve the quality of inpatient pediatric and neonatal care through better clinical documentation, data quality, and evidence-based quality improvement.
